I have often thought about how so many people are coming to America to escape their corrupt shithole country and then often openly declare how great their country of origin is. They don’t need to come here. They just need American style freedom. It would be better if they came here to learn how to effect the necessary changes in their own country and then go back there to do it. That doesn’t necessarily mean revolution but they can still make positive changes. I understand that part of the problem with turd world corruption is due to exploitation by first world governments and transnational mega corporations which is the same source for most of our problems.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. In America, we are told that the best way to effect change is to become part of the solution, and, in our case, that is running for elective office. Those coming here intending to become American citizens and help make the country better will not only help themselves for the rest of us already here. Those coming here with no intention of embracing what America stands for choosing, instead, to benefit themselves with dollars from taxpayers is a great disservice to all parties involved.
