For now, at least, this entry will remain pinned at the top of this page; my last entry here was roughly three months ago, but, like Mark Twain once said, "rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated." I have been on hiatus from 'Politics & Society' while busily finishing up the book I have always hoped to write - "Hermit Chronicles - and now that it is up to Amazon to release it to the world, I am back and ready to rumble.
I have cleaned the page up, dusted off the counters, and added a few nuggets to serve as the jumping-off point from which readers can head off in whichever direction best serves your interest. Over on the sidebar, roughly halfway down the page, there is a list of websites I either support or routinely follow, and I invite you to consider doing likewise. The Main website for Essential American Wisdom AND Hermit Chronicles, as well as the homepage for my partner in crime, Vassar Bushmills, who is now a contributor on this page. And below this is a link to our mutual friend and accomplished master of all things Labor Union. At the very bottom is a critically important list of resources which includes The US Constitution, The Federalist Papers, and Common Sense. I encourage readers to be as familiar with these collections as your loving hosts are.
Modern America is breaking apart at the seams, and Civil War is upon us. It's not our Ancestors' War of the past; it's not the North versus South or Left versus Right, this war is between the governing and the governed, and it's pitting us against each other as a distraction, incited by the governing in order to take away the power of the governed. If they win, we die.
Just bought your book...looking forward to your wisdoms
I'm Canadian, but I'm sure it will be a compelling read
